The Defense of Leopoldo López, political prisoner in Venezuela sentenced to 14 years imprisonment. Our firm conducted a Legal Manifesto advocating Lopez´ release, signed by over 1000 individuals from international legal, political and business sectors. As an expression of unwavering commitment, Javier Cremades has joined the team for Lopez´ defence, stressing that this case is a “global cause that represents all prisoners of conscience around the world”.
“Conoce tus leyes” (Know your rights). Javier Cremades, alongside the Comunidad de Madrid and the Wolters Kluwer foundation, drove this initiative with the aim of encouraging an awareness of legal and human rights amongst Madrid’s immigrants. The program has been supported by 31 Law Firms who have offered the services of outstanding professionals.
Fundación Hispano Judía: A citizens´ and industrial platform which serves as a bridge between the general public and the Jewish Community of Madrid. The foundation contributes to popular artistic, cultural and social activities and promotes relations between Israel, Spain and Latin America through their respective Jewish Communities.
The Madrid Vivo Foundation was founded in 2009 as a result of a pioneering initiative promoted by leading entrepreneurs in Spain. It promotes universal values that are at the root of Spanish culture. The Archbishop of Madrid, D. Carlos Osoro, is the Honorary President of the Foundation.
Youth Education. We conduct programmes that encourage female leadership, teaching essential management and communication skills and providing professional guidance from an early stage.
Fundación Alonso Quijano. Through cultural and educational programs, particularly ones which focus on reading, we collaborate with this foundation to contribute to the integral growth of individuals.
Javier Cremades remains committed to societal development and is involved in a variety of international associations. He has been an Eisenhower Fellow since 1998 and has held the position of Chapter Chairman for Spain with the YPO-WPO (Young Presidents' Organization of the World Presidents' Organization). This is a non-profit community made up of young company presidents who, through the exchange of experiences and knowledge, seek to grow as leaders.
